Watertown- Flora May Mullis, 81, Burlington Street, passed away Thursday, October 24th at the Samaritan Medical Center where she had been a patient for a short time.

She was born July 20, 1932, a daughter to Roy and Rozella Rushlow Gilbo. She was educated locally. She married Loyde Mullis in Baltimore, MD in 1957. Mr. Mullis passed away in 1967.

Flora enjoyed spending time with family, cookouts, and being a mother to her 12 children.

Surviving are her companion of 46 years, George Crist, Watertown; 6 daughters: Barbara (Jim) Marquette, Dexter, Bonnie Defoe, Watertown, Vicky (Wilson) Ramirez, Florida, Dawn (Roy) Straka, Florida, Laura (Jeff) Roshia, Watertown, Linda (Ricardo) Garcia, Arizona; 6 sons: Gerald Warren, Dexter, David (Ann) Warren, Carthage, James (Tammy) Mullis, Watertown, John (Sandra) Mullis, Watertown, Randy (Maryjean) Mullis, Ft. Covington, Rick (Carol) Mullis, Watertown.

She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she is pre-deceased by her 17 siblings.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 30th, 1:00 pm at North Watertown Cemetery.
