Ruth (Guyett) Milea, 87, of Liverpool, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rochester, NY, daughter of the late Earl and Madeline (Brown) Guyett. Ruth was a Real Estate Agent working with local companies in the Syracuse area for many years. She was an avid gardener, fabulous cook and baker, and later in life enjoyed watching the NY Yankees. Most importantly, Ruth loved being a dedicated wife to her husband and devoted mother to her children. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Milea, Sr. and her sons, Dominick Milea, Jr., Guy Milea and Earl W. Milea. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Ruth (David) Glessing of Athens, GA and her son, Frank J. (Linda) Milea of Tully, NY; seven grandchildren, Mandie, Dominick III, Tara, Kristen, David, Louis and Anthony; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley Parks of Liverpool; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Ruth's life at 11:30 a.m. in Westminster Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
