Truman O. Creighton , 73, formerly of 308 Madison Ave., died Wednesday at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Nichols Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ted Monica officiating. Spring burial will be in Ogdensburg Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Frances; two sons, Fred, Ogdensburg, and Kenneth, New Hampshire; five grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.
Two half-brothers, George and Kenneth Cummings, and two half-sisters, Doris Winn and Leila Cummings, died before him.
Born in Watertown on July 19, 1920, a son of Frederick and Emma Goodman Creighton , he attended Ogdensburg Free Academy. He married Frances O. Wagoner on May 1, 1942, in Schenectady, with the Rev. Harold Buckland officiating.
Mr. Creighton served in the Army during World War II. He was employed with Diamond International Co. as a machinist.
