Funeral services were conducted for Gilbert Guyette at 2pm Friday at his home, Miner street road, with burial later at Fairview Cemetery, Canton. He passed away Tuesday after a critical illness in Potsdam Hospital.

He was born in Potsdam, Nov 24, 1889, a son of Henry and Josephine Martin Guyette. On March 15, 1911, he married Hazel Burch of Canton. All his mature life he engaged in dairy farming.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Gerald and James of Canton, and his mother. One sister, Mrs. Gladys Moberg, a resident of Ohio, and two brothers, Lee and Ernest Guyette of Canton.
