Notes for Lawrence Wise

Word has been received here of the death of Lawrence Wise, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Wise, of Mud Bay, at St. Luke's hospital at Chicago, August 18. Young Wise was 24 years of age and enlisted in the service at Vancouver, Washington, a year and ten months ago. After nine months at Camp Lewis he was sent to France with the 91st Division. On his return to the United States he had reached Chicago on his way home when he contracted pneumonia which resulted in his death. He is survived by his parents, four brothers and six sisters. The body will arrive in Olympia Sunday and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
