WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Marguerite S. Ridley of Winter Haven died of heart disease Monday (May 9, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 84.

Born in Indianapolis on May 31, 1920, she came to Polk County from there in 1925. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven.

Mrs. Ridley is survived by her husband, Alton Ridley; son, James Ridley, Fort Lauderdale; brothers, Robert Stewart, Orlando, William Stewart, Goliad, Texas; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven.
