Birth: Apr. 29, 1917 Death: Apr. 24, 2007 Bedford – Luella Casey, 89, of 2024 ‘J' Street, Bedford, died at 4:32 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Hospitality House in Bedford.Born April 29, 1917 in Mitchell, IN, she was the daughter of John E. and Lillie (Clouse) Burgess. She first married Lawrence E. Fisher and he preceded her in death. She later married William Glen Casey on May 7, 1954 and he also preceded her in death. She had been employed at Reliance Mfg., M. Fine & Sons and NWSC Crane. Luella was a member of the Grace Methodist Church in Bedford.Survivors include one son, John William Casey of Florida; one daughter, Jean Hubbard of Maryland; one grandson, Jeffrey Hubbard of Maryland; one granddaughter, Dawn Hubbard-Moody of North Carolina; two brothers, Carl Burgess of Lima, OH and Asa Burgess of Bedford; one sister, Margaret Lowery of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three brothers, Robert M., John and Charles E. Burgess; one sister, Phyllis Burgess and a daughter, Loretta Fisher. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 28th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Raymond Brinegar and Rev. Doug Finney officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
