Joe BartelJoe Bartel passed away on Fri., Feb. 22, 2002 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Parkstone, SD and is preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Glendora Bartel. He is survived by is wife and soul mate of 27 years, Linda; sons, Charley of Highlands, TX and Randy of Puyallup, WA; and granddaughter, Cassandra. Other survivors are a brother, Jim of Puyallup; sister, Roxy of Seattle; nephews, Don, Chris and Brian; godchildren, Becca, Jennifer, Heather and numerous friends who will miss him dearly. Joe was a longtime employee with Associated Grocers. He was a beloved member of Lakes Moose Lodge 1865 where he reached Legion status. His volunteer work at the Lodge will be sorely missed, along with his cheerful demeanor and kindness to Moose members and guests. Visitation begins Tues., 12 noon - 9pm and Wed., 8am - 2pm. Memorial services are 3:00 pm, Wed., Feb. 27, 2002 at Lakes Moose Lodge #1865, 4220 109th St., Lakewood. Inurnment in Mt. View Memorial Park.
