Sexton records indicate Bertha Hepburn is buried in the space where Maybelle B. Paine’s marker is. The older sexton records tended to identify married daughters by their maiden name only, so possthly this space is for Maybelle Bertha Hepburn Paine. The 1900 U. S. Census gives Bertha Hepburn’s birthdate as June 1891, which corresponds with the birthyear on the Paine marker. No entry was found on the ODI under either name.
