Dora was a nurse in Yakima. She missed her graduation because of an illness and had to reattend in order to get her nursing certificate. She invited her sister Miss Emeline (Emily) Wise to live with her and was able to get her into the nursing program as well. (contributed by Find A Grave contributor Melanie Rutherford)
