He worked as a farmer on Whitcom Island, Wash., sold mobile homes in Alaska, worked in the irrigation industry in Othello and Alaska, and worked for Fiscus Motor Freight.Survivors include a daughter, Heather Desmarais of Portland; and three brothers, Dave Desmarais of Yakima, Greg Prior of Everett and Dick Prior of Cairo, Egypt.A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Yakima.Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Yakima, is in charge of arrangements.
