!NOTES: Mary Ann Lewis, born in 1824, was the daughter of Polly
Stillwell and Eli J. Lewis. She was the second wife of Archibald
Hamilton Rutherford (1811-1888) having been married on December 22, 1840.

!NOTES: After the marriage she was always known as "Amelia" although
on the record of marriage she was listed as "Mary Ann". In her
grandmother's will she had been listed as "Mary". Amelia and Archibald
were parents of a daughter and three sons.
