Obit Dec. 23, 1933-Dec. 8, 2003 A funeral service for Leland Gail Ridenbaugh, 69, of Newark, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Church of God of Licking, County 2181 Riggs Road, N.E., Newark, with the Pastor Kenneth Yoder officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens, where a military graveside service will be held by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Mr. Ridenbaugh, who retired from the Newark Air Force Base as a systems repairman, passed away Dec. 8, 2003, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 23, 1933, in Newark, to the late Alfred and Goldie (Frost) Ridenbaugh. Mr. Ridenbaugh was a United States Marine Corps veteran, and he attended the Wooster Highway Church of God. He is survived by his wife, H. Lavaine (Cobb) Ridenbaugh, whom he married Nov. 13, 1954; seven children, Dale (Mindy) Ridenbaugh, Rod (Jill) Ridenbaugh, Cully (Janet) Ridenbaugh, Blane (Lori) Ridenbaugh and Carrie (Hugh) Masterson, all of Newark, Julie (Tim) Yoder of Ashland, and Joy (Seth) Haynes of Newark; 23 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Lena (Tom) Kent of Newark; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
