Obit:
Deseret News - October 1, 2003 If you are reading this in the newspaper I must have passed on to a much better and happier place. Eva passed away September 28, 2003 at home with her loving family members by her side. I was born September 3, 1920 in Arcadia, Utah, daughter of David John and Elvira Ann Ross Holfeltz. I lived in Helper, Garfield and Salt Lake City. I graduated from West High School. Married Parley R. Goodfellow December 10, 1938 in Salt Lake City and the marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. We were blessed with three wonderful children, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one Maddie. I was employed as a waitress, floral designer and office manager. I also worked for Murray City (Heritage Center) and Salt Lake County (Sugarhouse Garden Center Director). I was a member of the Utah Association of Garden Clubs and the African Violets Association of Utah and the secretary and treasurer for them. I am survived by two children, daughter, Patricia Long, St. George; son, Robert (Karen) Goodfellow, Murray; grandchildren, Cassandra (Alan) Bingham, St. George; Jamie and Jeremy Goodfellow, Murray; great-grandson, Jaycen; brother, Calvin; sisters, Melva and Carolyn. Preceded in death by my husband; son, brother, grandson, and parents. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 445 North Hillside. Friends and family may call Wednesday, 12:30-1:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
