Notes for Barbara Jean Easter

1956 ~ 2017
Barbara Jean Malmgren completed her mortal life and departed mortality on Sunday evening, November 19, 2017. She was born June 5, 1956 in Topeka, Kansas, to James Lee Easter and Marie Goodfellow Easter. She was raised in Seattle, Washington and later moved with her family to Arizona and Salt Lake City, Utah.
She is the mother of five beautiful children: Maria Lenore Easter, Jeremy Trabert, Jason Franklin Trabert, Chrisawn Maria Trabert, and Jeremiah Trabert. She married Jim Malmgren on August 30, 2007 and they were sealed in the Bountiful Temple. They lived in Bountiful, Utah. Her greatest joys were as a wife, mother and grandmother.
She loved Christmas, watching Christmas movies, and decorating her home. She had a quiet but firm faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. She was preceded in death by a daughter Maria Lenore Easter, mother Marie Goodfellow Easter, and brother Roy Easter.
She is survived by her husband Jim Malmgren, her children and step-children, Christy (Shaun) Proctor, Edwin Dee (Tiffany) Malmgren, Janette (Gordon) Hoffman, and Michael James (Nora) Malmgren. father James Lee Easter, siblings Sharon Powell, Meridith Easter, Jim Easter, Bob Easter, Lelia Grant, Frank Easter and several cousins, nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Bountiful 26th Ward, 200 West 200 North, Bountiful, UT where a viewing will be held Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
