Sally L. Leween, 79, of 14 Maywood Terrace, Watertown, NY died at 6:26 AM on Saturday, December 26 in the emergency room of the Samaritan Medical Center.

Calling hours are Sunday 6 to 8 PM at the Hart and Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown with a funeral service at 8 PM with Father Richard Kennedy, Pastor, Sacred Heart Church, officiating. A Committal service will take place in the N. Watertown Cemetery on Wed. at 1 PM.

Born on March 30, 1930 in Watertown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Julia LaBreck Rushlow. Sally attended school in Watertown. After school she worked at the Strand Theater as an usher, at the American Restaurant on Court Street as a waitress for two years and then she worked at the Clock Grill as a bartender for 23 years retiring in 1985.

She married Delbert Leween of Deserato, Ontario, Canada on February 7, 1948 in Watertown. Delbert worked for TYLO Roofing Co. as a laborer. The marriage ended in divorce.

Mrs. Leween was an avid bingo player.

Among her survivors are two sons and one daughter-in-law; Delbert E. & Christine Leween and Donald E. Allen both of Watertown, NY; a daughter Dorothy May Daniels of Black River, NY; a sister Shirley Ann Young of Black River, NY; four Grandchildren and eight Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one brother and 4 sisters
