Earl A. Guyett Jr., 78, of 111 Gator Point,Bainbridge, Ga., died April 22 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Ga.

Born in Watertown, he was a 1940 graduate of Mexico Central Academy. He was a supervisor for General Electric for 14 years and worked at Xerox Corp. for 22 years. He retired in 1982. He was a member of United Methodist Church and Good Sam Campers, a volunteer firefighter and a member of a neighborhood crime watch group. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.

Survivors: His wife, the former Mary H. Haddock; three sisters, Helen G. Francis of Savannah and Shirley G. Parks and Ruth G. Milea, both of Liverpool; a brother, Jack B. of Knoxville, Tenn.

Services: Were Friday. Burial, Mexico Village Cemetery, Mexico. No calling hours. Harter Funeral Home, Mexico, has arrangements.

Earl Adelbert Guyette Jr. was born 25 Mar 1922 In Watertown, Jefferson, New York to Earl Adelbert Guyett (#149865387) and Madeline Ellen Brown (#162665947). He married Mary Elizabeth Haddock 10 Jun 1943 in Albany, Dougherty, Georgia. She was born 13 Nov 1922 and died 30 Apr 2013. His father was born 17 Aug 1898.
