SAUVE – Rosabelle (Champagne) Sauve, 77, of Yakima died Sunday at Providence Medical Center.

Mrs. Sauve was born, raised, and educated in Yakima. She worked for Perham Fruit Company and was a sales clerk at J.J. Newberry's.

Survivors include a son, Walter C. Sauve, of Yakima; a half sister Leah Lindquist of Yakima; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Terrace Heights Memorial Park under the direction of Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Those attending should meet at the cemetery.

YAKIMA- Rosabelle (Champagne) Sauve, 77, a lifelong Yakima resident, passed away Sunday, April 26, 1998, at Providence Medical Center.

Rose was born November 10, 1920, in Yakima, to Henry and Hazel Champagne. She was raised and educated in Yakima. Rose married Walter F. Sauve on May 23, 1937. She worked for Perham Fruit Company as a box labeler, J.J. Newberry's as a sales clerk and also did home ironing for several years.

Rose was a very loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She helped raise her sister Madeline and niece Vicky, and also was a great support in raising her granddaughter Leanne.

Survivors include her son. Walter C. Sauve; her granddaughter, Leanne Sauve and two great grandchildren, Amber Starr Morrow and Charlie Christie, all of Yakima; many nieces and nephews: her mother-in-law, Loretta Allen; a brother-in-law and his wife, Charles and Dexter Sauve of Yakima; a sister-in-law Odail Fortier of Selah; a half sister, Leah Lundquist of Yakima and a cousin Dorothy Turner of Yakima.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Hazel Champagne; her husband, Walter F. Sauve. On August 12, 1997; a brother Robert Champagne; a sister, Madeline Cox; and two half brothers Joseph and George Champagne.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 1998, at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Those attending should meet at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the favorite charity of the donor, in care of Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.
