Mary Frances Ehrlich

BRAZIL, Ind. Dec 18 – Mrs. Mary Frances Ehrlich, widow of the late Jacob Ehrlich, a prominent coal operator of the bituminous field for many years, died about 7:30 o'clock this morning at the home at Staunton of general debility at the age of 80 years. Mrs. Ehrlich had been in failing health for seven years and had been confined to her home for the past year. The deceased was born at Staunton and had spent her entire life in the community. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stewart, pioneer settlers of Posey township. The deceased had been a faithful member of the Staunton Christian church for many years. Mrs. Ehrlich is survived by three sons and a daughter, James A. and Ross J., of Staunton; Clarence C., of Winslow, and Mrs. Ethel G Honeter of Huntington Park, Cal.: also 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The remains were prepared for burial at Miller & Sons funeral home and will be returned Wednesday evening to the home. Funeral services will be held at the Staunton Christian church at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. Shaw officiating, interment Summit Lawn cemetery.
