Clarence "Ernie" Clark, 86, a longtime resident of the Pateros and Brewster area, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001 at Harmony House Health Care Center at Brewster.He was born Feb. 28, 1915 in Combs, AR.Ernie moved to Pateros in 1943 and was employed by the Wenoka Packing Company for almost 25 years and in later years he was employed with Mumma Trucking Company.Ernie is survived by his three children, Dorothy, Dewanna and Don; four grandchildren, Marisa, Jordan Scott, Holly and Matt; four great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Carra, Justin and Mikayla; nieces and nephews and many loving friends.Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001 at 1 p.m. at Pateros Cemetery with Donn Plew, officiating.Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Barnes Chapel, Brewster.Services are under the direction of Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
