Ray Poirier (Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home) Ray Poirier, 71, of Wapato, was pronounced dead on arriva l Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He had suffered an app arent heart attack in his home earlier. Mr. Poirier was a retired hop grower and had been a diversi fied farmer raising cattle and open land farming in the Bro wnstown area since 1924 until retirement in 1969. He was born at Ontario, Canada, and moved to Moxee with hi s parents when he was a young child. He was past president of the Yakima Valley Hop Growers Ass ociation, a long time member of the Yakima Elks Lodge 318 , and was rehabilitation counselor for Shadel Hospital, Sea ttle, for the past 20 years, and a member of St. Peter Clav er Catholic Church, Wapato. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosanna (Rose) Poirier , a daughter, Mrs. Chuck (Mabel) Eisenbeis of Wapato, thre e grandchildren; two brothers, Oscar Poirier of
