MARRIAGE: On her 25 birthday (to the day).

Note: Yakima City (later called Old Town and then Union Gap) was the trading
post. Supplies were brought in by freighters driving four and six horse teams
from the Dalles, Oregon. When there was talk of a railroad freighters fought
the idea but the railroad came throught and the twon was moved to North Yakima
(the present site of Yakima). The railroad people moved the buildings for
free. Bob Beck, brother of Orlando, was the mayor of Old Town. Edna Beck,
daughter of Orlando, was the first white child born after the town was moved.
