THERESA -- The funeral for Florence A. "Patty" Cabrera, 59, of 30269 County Route 22, will be at 5 p.m. Friday at TLC Funeral Home, Watertown. Private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Cabrera died Tuesday morning at the home of her sister Michelle Rice, with whom she lived. She had been ill with diabetes.
Calling hours will follow the funeral Friday at the funeral home.

She was once employed by the Boeing Corp. in Seattle, where she was an assembler and later worked on airplane computer systems. She also worked as a caregiver for the elderly in Seattle and Watertown.

Born Feb. 10, 1948, in Seattle, Wash., daughter of Eugene and Vivian Beck Smith, she graduated from Mount Rainier High School, Seattle. Two marriages ended in divorce.

Mrs. Cabrera loved animals and enjoyed crocheting, macrame, collecting jewelry and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her stepfather, Jerome Cummings, Watertown; three daughters, Stephanie McMurray, Independence, Mo., Stacie McMurray, Alexandria Bay, and Christina McMurray, Brooklyn; six brothers and three sisters-in-law, Tillman and Sandra Smith, Seattle, Michael Cummings, Theresa, Steven and Vicky Cummings, Puyallup, Wash., Shawn Cummings, Covington, Wash., Eric and Niomi Cummings, Roy, Wash., and Christian Cummings, Fort Sill, Okla.; six sisters and four brothers-in-law, Barbara and Daniel Clounch, Seattle, Sharri Hawkins, Mount Holly, Vt., Diane Hebert, Kingston Island, Wash., Nannette and Dennis Rose, Salt Lake City, Utah, Michelle and William Rice, Theresa, and Suzette and Anthony Caruso, Richland, Wash., eight grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
